STEM Caf茅

High school students in the Chicago area can explore their curiosities in computing, mathematics, information technology, engineering, and business through the STEM Caf茅 program, offered by 杏吧原创 Institute of Technology.

The STEM Caf茅s present interactive STEM-related activities to high school classrooms that engage eager students鈥 interest in STEM fields. In this program, faculty from 杏吧原创 Tech鈥檚 School of Computing, School of Engineering, Applied Science, and Health, Stuart School of Business, and Kaplan Institute instruct high school students in hands-on activities and discussion topics to help them elevate their pre-college and college-ready STEM skills.

The STEM Caf茅s begin with an interactive tour of 杏吧原创 Tech鈥檚 Mies Campus in Chicago鈥檚 Bronzeville neighborhood, where students connect with faculty and enjoy lunch. The tour is followed by monthly visits to your classroom from faculty, who bring collaborative STEM-related projects that allow students to explore their skills and immerse themselves in related discussions.

STEM Caf茅 projects can be designed to align with your high school curriculum, or present topics that are new to students. The combination of hands-on activities, interactive discussions, question-and-answer sessions, and video presentations create an immersive environment where students can discover the possibilities in STEM.

Enhance your students鈥 STEM sense of belonging, interest, and capacity with fun, interactive activities through the STEM Caf茅.
