Note: Early Decision applications are binding—this means if you are accepted into ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ Tech under our early decision deadline, you are required to withdraw all applications from other universities. If you are a first-year undergraduate applicant and ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ Tech is your first choice university regardless of financial need, we invite you to apply under our early decision deadline.
If cost of attendance is a factor in your decision to attend ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ Tech, we encourage you to apply under Early Action instead.
Early Deposit Benefits (Fall Entry Only)
We’re committed to the success of all ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ Tech students! If you know that ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ Tech is the place for you and you confirm your enrollment by March 15, you’ll receive:
- Free ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ Tech course the summer before you begin your first year so you can start earning college credit (limited to one course in the summer term)
- Priority course registration throughout your bachelor’s degree program starting your second semester of college
- Priority housing selection and earn a $2000 Experience ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ Tech housing scholarship*
* The Experience ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ Tech housing scholarship may not be combined with housing scholarships awarded with Duchossois, Chicago Difference, ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ Tech Purpose, or Collens scholarships. ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ Tech will award the highest housing award for which the student is qualified but will not combine multiple housing awards.

The priority deadline exists to give you sufficient time to complete all required onboarding processes such as course registration, submission of immunization, etc.
All transfer students will be considered for the transfer institutional scholarship. Applications are not considered complete until official transcripts from all previously attended institutions have been submitted.
If you are applying for the Transfer Leadership Scholarship (TLS) please submit your application for spring 2026 term by October 15 and for the fall 2026 term by March 15^.
Transcript evaluations take place after August 1. Your transcripts will not be evaluated if your completed application is not submitted by August 1.

Fall Term
Runs from August to December. Application deadline: August 1 (domestic, including international students living in the U.S.); May 15 (International students living outside of the U.S.)
Spring Term
Runs from late January to mid-May. Application deadline: November 15.
Summer Term
The summer term runs from the end of May to mid-August. Applications are due two weeks before the start of the summer term. View academic calendar.
