The McCormick Tribune Campus Center: It鈥檚 hard to miss the large Exelon Tube above The MTCC, carrying 鈥淟鈥 riders to and from downtown Chicago. The award-winning student center, designed by internationally recognized architect and designer Rem Koolhaas, the student-run WIIT-FM radio station, dining options, student group offices, post office, and more services.

George J. Kacek Hall: Named after alumnus George J. Kacek (EE 鈥54, M.S. 鈥55), Kacek Hall opened its doors for the first time in August 2020. Kacek Hall is a legacy Ludwig Mies van der Rohe building that was revitalized by alumnus and School of Architecture Professor Dirk Denison. It imbues classic modernism with a vibrant, new living experience for first- and second-year students.

University Technology Park: Located at the south end of Mies Campus, UTP is composed of a collection of renovated Mies-designed buildings that now house Chicago鈥檚 premier technology park. UTP includes a business incubator, and some students work for the companies based at UTP.
